Norfolk Broads 1970. This is the earliest picture of me with a guitar it was bought for my 10th birthday. At this stage I couldn't play a note but I could pose.

Oxford House 1972. I built a small studio in the top room at Oxford House. We were plugged into the RadioGram for amplification. It later blew up and I bought my first amp from Wholly's.

There's that amp I bought. The guitar was given to me by legendary blues man Victor Brox, it was all plastic and had lots of knobs on it. Lovely.

No Change 1977. Deeply Vale rock festival. No Change opened the festival that night after hours of waiting. Garry Bromley on base, Phil Buckley hammers the drums. I'm still doing that pose.
